Through its subsidiary, Jayamix by SCG, the company opened its newest batching plant in Bandung 2, located in Bandung Regency, West Java, officially opened on May 22nd, 2025. The establishment of this batching plant reflects SCG’s ongoing commitment to expanding its service coverage and delivering high-quality, ready-to-use infrastructure products to support various development projects in the Bandung area. Following the successful launch of its batching plant in Bali last February, SCG is now dedicated to offering High-Value Added (HVA) Products & Services that contribute to transforming Bandung into a more modern region through innovative and superior infrastructure solutions.

In 2025, the Bandung City Government is committed to improving the quality of road infrastructure to ensure more convenient accessibility for the public. Various efforts have been undertaken, including the realization of a road repair budget that has reached 91%. In addition to repair efforts, the government is also implementing periodic and routine maintenance approaches to ensure the long-term quality of infrastructure.

President Director of SCG Readymix Indonesia, Tirayot Thamwongsa, shared the infrastructure product innovations that will be introduced through the newly established batching plant in the Bandung 2 area. “As one of the pioneers of readymix products in Indonesia, Jayamix by SCG continues to bring breakthroughs in both products and innovative service systems. We are not only committed to providing high-quality readymix products that ensure optimal infrastructure outcomes, but also to making the construction process easier for our customers,” explained Tirayot.

To support various development projects and public facility improvements in Bandung, Jayamix by SCG introduces a range of High-Value Added (HVA) Products designed to deliver optimal results. Three key innovations offered by the Jayamix by SCG batching plant in the Bandung 2 area are:

• Jayamix Fast Setting Concrete

Designed with accelerated concrete compressive strength, this high-strength concrete solution is specially developed for road projects requiring rapid completion. With its ability to reach target compressive strength in just 6 hours, this concrete allows newly built roads to be reopened for public use quickly, significantly reducing downtime. This product is ideal for road repair projects or the construction of floors/slabs that demand fast usability, including high-traffic areas.

• Jayamix Stamped Concrete

This patterned and/or textured concrete is designed to resemble bricks, wood, and various other surface patterns. It is ideal for the construction of decorative structures such as pedestrian pathways, not only enhancing aesthetic value but also providing improved functionality. 

• Jayamix Porous Concrete

With a composition of coarse aggregates and cement paste that allows for easier water flow, this concrete is specifically designed to support improved drainage systems. Therefore, this material is ideal for use in projects such as sidewalks, pedestrian paths, parking areas, and various other projects requiring surfaces with high permeability as needed.

SCG’s readymix concrete materials have been trusted by various parties in supporting infrastructure projects. Since 2017, Jayamix Fast Setting Concrete has been the go-to solution for repairing TransJakarta routes, enabling faster work processes without compromising quality. Meanwhile, Jayamix Stamped Concrete and Jayamix Porous Concrete have contributed to the construction of pedestrian pathways throughout Jakarta and supported the revitalization project of Urban Park in Depok City. The ongoing trust from numerous stakeholders is a clear testament to SCG’s commitment to delivering innovations for the advancement of infrastructure in Indonesia.

This technology is designed with processing capacity that can increase the volume and speed of concrete mixing at the central mix, thereby minimizing waste generated and improving efficiency in the construction process.
